SOUTH WINDSOR - Thousands of people, despite the changes in weather (from heat to a stormy afternoon) turned out for the 26th annual Strawberry Fest at Nevers Road Park. 95 South, despite the rain, kept the crowds entertained, and even had a few people up and dancing. Event organizers said the festival was so successful this year, that they they ran out of strawberry shortcake.
