Hideaway Mountain Ranch (HMR) is a 600 acre, crescent shaped mountain, in extreme Southeastern Arizona. The mountain faces Southwest, with beautiful views of the Sulfur Springs Valley and nearby Sonora Mexico. From the top of the mountain (6,250 ft.) you can see clear into Mexico and Southwestern New Mexico, with 3 mountain peaks just under 10,000 ft. in elevation.
HMR is bordered to the north by the Coronado National Forest. The Chiricahua wilderness land is a 137 square mile recreational area offering unlimited opportunities for nature study, bird watching, rock hounding, photography and hiking. Landmarks of historic Cochise County, include the towns of Tombstone, Bisbee and Douglas with several Ghost Towns scattered in between.
Eighty percent of HMR is over a mile-high in elevation, ranging from 5,050 feet to over 6,200 feet above sea level. HMR also has a 168 acre back bowl, facing Northwest and a 50 acre side bowl, just below the highest point of the ranch on the Eastern ridge.
HMR offers an unparalleled climate in a distinctive southwestern locale. HMR has a desirable year-round climate and 325 days of sunshine per year with summer temperatures rarely getting too warm.
