TOLLAND - Fifty-eight people came out to Tolland Public Library to hear Ally Vess, educator for The Children's Museum in West Hartford, speak about the animals the museum houses, including several she brought with her - a chinchilla named "Roma," a bearded dragon named "River," two Madagascar hissing cockroaches, "Mike," the tree frog and "Indus," a ball python. The program, financially supported by the Tolland Junior Women's Club and Tolland PTO and presented by Tolland Public Library as part of their "Catch the Reading Bug" summer reading program.
