SOUTH WINDSOR - Teams from South Windsor, Windsor, East Hartford, Norwich-area, Plainville, Bristol, Rocky Hill, Redding and New Britain participated in the "Lifeguard Olympics" on Aug. 3 at South Windsor's Veterans Memorial Park pool. South Windsor's Team A regained the title that it lost last year, and Redding and Rocky Hill Team A tied for second place. In this clip, Rocky Hill Team B lifeguards Camille Gilbert and Lindsay Cowles secure "victim" Gianna Acca to a backboard during the shallow water backboard competition. Bubbles to Butterfly of the Norwich area took first place in the shallow water backboard competition.
