"Requiem" indie...

"In a country devastated by war, bands of armed men mercilessly slaughter anyone who does not conform to their beliefs. A young soldier hires a pathfinder to lead his family out of the country. The simple race for safety becomes much more complicated when they stumble into another group of refugees in the wilderness. Conflict and mistrust within the group threaten to destroy them while their relentless pursuers draw ever nearer."

Requiem is a fantasy film directed, written, and acted entirely by teenagers from northern Colorado. It was filmed in the Red Feather Lakes area and in Fort Collins and will be released in the late spring of 2008. The total budget was less than two-thousand dollars.

Trailer music is Nara by E.S. Posthumus (the theme for Cold Case) and Island of Fear Part 5 by Justin R. Durban (www.edgen.com).
